At the club, our goal is to grow the number of boys and girls playing cricket, and to help children develop their cricketing skills in a fun and safe environment. We welcome girls and boys of all abilities to join us. We have teams from under 9 to under 14, and an Academy team supporting the transition to adults cricket.
This season we are launching a girls’ team for those in school years 4-6. League matches are midweek, with club training on Sunday morning with our qualified coaching team.
In recent years, our juniors section has thrived and we have over 120 members. Many of our current and recent junior players have made the step up to play adults cricket in our 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th XIs.
We have a strong record of girls and boys progressing to play in North Herts Area and Hertfordshire County teams. This year we’ve a busy schedule, with Sunday morning training from 10 April through to September, and league matches from April to July.
Our ECB All Stars & Dynamos programmes give many boys and girls their first taste of cricket. These will be on Friday evenings from May.
