We may not be able to get out on the pitch for a game but there is still an opportunity to keep practising for when the action finally gets under way.
The nets are open at the Park but Covid-19 rules forbid the old-style free-for-all. It has been great to see the nets getting plenty of use despite restrictions and the need for a booking system and social distancing rules.
Those wishing to participate in any sessions will need to register their membership via the club’s online membership system first as that’s a pre-requisite of the guidelines. Just go to https://membermojo.co.uk/kpcc If anyone has problems doing this, please email kpcc1871@gmail.com.
Members can then book a net here. There is a lengthy yet simple list of sensible rules to make sure everyone stays safe. Please read them on the booking page to make sure you do not put yourselves or anyone else at risk.
It’s important those practising in the mobile net use them sensibly to avoid damaging the ground. The wear and tear demands flexibility, such as swapping batting ends, so we can get more weeks use out of each strip.
