There’s three very good reasons to head for the club this Friday.
We are welcoming one of the country’s best bat-makers, our new shirt and clothing supplier and the re-appearance after several years of draught Guinness.
Charlie French’s bats are ideal for all ages and have proved popular with juniors and seniors at Knebworth.
He makes bats for many professionals, too, and comes from a strong cricketing pedigree – his brother is the England wicket-keeping coach and his nephew is Jake Ball, the England fast bowler.
Charlie will be bringing a wide range of bats as well as other cricket equipment such as gloves and pads.
Macron Letchworth is our new shirt supplier and they will also be displaying various clothing and under armour items that are available.
The bar will be fully operational with the new introduction of Draught Guinness at a special introductory night offer.
So do your best to be there this Friday at 7pm.
Meanwhile, the unprecedented wet weather has meant that, while the ground looks lovely, it’s very very soggy underfoot and Saturday’s inter-club match is off.
Sunday’s juniors’ training starting at 10am is on – but is subject to ground checks nearer the time.
As always, we need more players at all levels, so please encourage your friends, neighbours or work colleagues to come along and play. That includes from young juniors through to senior players.
