The club has two particularly important dates coming up. Please mark them in your diaries – digital and paper – and make sure you support these events if you possibly can.
First, the club’s annual general meeting is to be held in the clubhouse on Thursday, March 29, at 8pm.
This is an important meeting which everyone should attend to learn and discuss all the working and playing operations of the club as well as catching up on the latest developments with the ground move.
Second, on April 7, there will be the pre-season work party. This is one of the most important dates in the club year as we have to get the ground ready for the season ahead.
There are always more jobs that we have volunteers, so it would be appreciated if everyone could chip in, even for just an hour. It starts at 9am but runs throughout the morning.
It is also part of the NatWest Cricketforce initiative to get the country’s cricket grounds looking spick and span.
Also make a note of the other vital dates on the club calendar:
Friday 13 April – New season launch party with new shirts and Charlie French batmaking demo
Saturday 14 April – Senior warm-up match
Sunday 15 April – opening Juniors training session
Saturday 5 May – Saracens league season opens
Sunday 8 July – Klonky Day
Friday 20 July – Frank Manning Memorial Day
