The sun is out (well, it certainly feels very mild for the time of year!), England have just beaten South Africa and we can all start to think about preparing for the start of the new season.
At Knebworth Park Cricket Club, indoor training for juniors kicks into action very soon.
It begins on Saturday, January 9, at Nobel School in Stevenage from 3.45 to 5.45 and these will continue every week until the end of March. These are open to all age groups. The cost per week will be £5.
In addition, over the opening month there will be the option of batting masterclasses which are being run by Tom Jenkins, a highly sought-after Level 3 coach and coach to the county’s age group squads, and who has an outstanding track record of improving players skill levels.
His sessions will help to fine tune and develop individual batting skills. For those wishing to taking up these sessions, the cost will be £20 a week.
If you are interested or wish to take part in the masterclasses which will be on January 9, 23, 30 and February 6, please give Chris Johnson an email or phone at chrisjohnson.1@sky.com or 07867580492.
