Stuck for something for the children to do during the summer holidays? Then why not sign them up for our summer cricket camps, which offer a chance to master the skills of the game, to practise, play games and, most of all, to have bucketloads of fun.
Knebworth Park Cricket Club is running the scheme for two weeks, starting on Monday, August 10.
The sessions will be run by our qualified and DBS-checked coaches, under the direction of our Australian, Sam Gardiner, who has successfully run similar schemes Down Under. He will build up your child’s confidence and fire up their enthusiasm for the game.
Girls and boys of all abilities are welcome; we can cater for ages from eight to 12.
They do not need to have played the game before and need no equipment. Just turn up in sports clothing and with an eagerness to take part.
They will need to bring a packed lunch, snacks and cold drinks.
The sessions run from 10am to 3pm and will be held from Monday, August 10, to Friday, August 21.
At the end of each week, participants will receive an assessment report of their progress, their achievement, their contribution to the course and where they need to improve.
It costs just £15 a day or £20 for non-members, or £60 (£80 non members) if you book the whole week. For those booking for all two weeks it is £100 (£140 non members).
To book a space please contact Chris Johnson on 07867 580492 or email chrisjohnson.1@sky.com. Please book by August 3, to reserve your place.
