The Fourths are still looking for their first win of the season, despite a much-improved bowling and fielding performance on Saturday.
Mark Folwell’s team restricted London Colney II to 181-8 off their 50 overs with Jo Barnes (3-24) , Jack Newland (2-31) and the ageless Sandy Reynolds (a mean 1-13 off his 10 overs) the pick of the bowlers.
A good stand of 51 between Joel Curtis (26) and John Inman (35) had the Park looking good at 76-2 when Curtis was adjudged LBW.
From thereon, the wickets fell at regular intervals and the team, which was weak in the batting department, were all out for 132. Defeat leaves them bottom of the division and looking for another improvement next week to notch their first victory.
