All-rounder Charlie Randall has been handed a second year in charge of the Park’s first team.
He has been asked to rebuild the side, which was relegated from the championship in disappointing fashion on the last day of the season and has lost several key players.
His reappointment was confirmed at the club’s annual meeting on Friday along with the rest of the captains for the club’s five league sides.
The firsts’ efforts to bounce back from relegation will be hampered by the departure of two of their star players from last term, twins James and Richard Leather, who have joined Hertford, and wicket-keeper Ben Cowell.
Playing chairman Adam Sergeant told the meeting that he wished the departing players well, saying they had moved on in the belief it would further their chances of playing at a higher level.
Big-hitting all-rounder Guy Warman takes over as second XI captain from Sam McCrow, with Alex Richmond stepping up as vice.
The thirds will be led by Sean Carmody, who took over the side mid-season last year after Graham Fisher stood down. Ian Pickering is vice-captain.
Mark Folwell again skippers the fourths, with Dave Barwick as vice and Dave Mantle continues as fifth XI captain, while Eddie Large is again in charge of the Sunday side.
