THE Hertfordshire league fixtures are in for the 2015 season, bringing a new format and new challenges for all our five league sides.
Charlie Randall’s firsts begin their division one campaign with a home tie against Old Albanian as they seek a rapid return to the championship after their disappointing end of season slump saw them relegated last year.
The seconds, under new skipper Guy Warman, head to Hatfield Hyde for their opening encounter in division 3A, while Sean Carmody takes his thirds side on the lengthy trek to Kings Langley II in division 6A.
The fourths open their division 9B campaign with home tie with Cockfosters IV, while the fifths have to face Baldock III away in the less-than-snappily named regional division B east.
All the divisons have been stripped back to ten teams this year, with home and away fixtures in an attempt to make the competition fairer.
They will also begin on the same date – May 9 – and end on the same date – September 5.
