Bobby Orlandi hopes to reinvigorate the social scene at the Park after taking over as the club’s social organiser.
He was appointed to take over from Nick English at the annual meeting on Friday.
Bobby is already working on ideas to breathe new life into club events and get more visitors coming to the ground.
At the meeting he appealed for more members to get behind his efforts and, in particular, said he hoped to get plenty of support from all the team captains and their players.
Elsewhere, Sam McCrow stood down as seconds captain to become sponsorship organiser and the club has a new treasurer, Alf Quelch, who takes over from Mark Burrows.
The position of juniors’ chairman remains vacant after Russell Haggar decided to step down, while the club is also looking for a new 100 Club promoter.
Long-serving umpire Bill Dance has been made a life member in appreciation of his years of dedication to cricket at Knebworth Park.
Bill, who stood in all the thirds’ fixtures last year, has been standing at the club for more than 30 years, was previously a vice-president.
Subs will remain unchanged from last year, the meeting also agreed.
