The Fourths went down by nine wickets in a much-shortened game with only the covering of the wicket and other mopping up operations enabling the game with Leverstock Green III going ahead on the main wicket at Knebworth.
Under-14 Archie Stephens and new player Pru Korivi top scored with 29 apiece in a below-par total of 124 for 9 off 40 overs.
The wicket contained no real gremlins but the Park batsmen failed to cope with the visitors’ accurate medium-pace bowling.
Only Korivi bagged a wicket as the visitors despatched the all-too frequent loose deliveries to coast home.
