Where would this club be without the efforts of Mark Folwell? Over the years, the contribution of ‘Slogger’ has been immense… groundsman, keeper of the bar and as Fourth XI skipper. This weekend has been one of the busiest of the year at the club with Mark Klimek’s monster party, a full round of league games and the football club presentation. ‘Slogger’ was instrumental to the organisation of these hugely successful events with queues at the bar eight-deep on Sunday. So what better time to offer this small, public thank you to one of the Park’s great servants.
Every week, we salute the member or supporter who has gone that extra mile to help make our wonderful club that little bit more wonderful. We’d like to offer him or her a holiday in the sun or the latest smartphone for their selflessness but instead they will have to make do with this small public pat on the back.
