After being able to pick four almost unchanged sides last week, the club selectors had a few more headaches this week.
They still have to finalise all the teams, with five sides in league action on what promises to be a sunny Saturday.
Firsts skipper Charlie Randall has called on his young charges to bounce back in style from last week’s disappointing showing at Flitwick.
He will field the same XI for the visit of Old Finchleians, with the exception of the unavailable Luke Chapman, who is replaced by another young spinner, Jason Timm.
The Seconds, who hope to continue their promising start to the season away at Chipperfield Clarendon, welcome the return of Ryan Skeggs, pictured above, back in whites for the first time this term.
Graham Fisher’s Thirds need a win away at Parkfield and Headstone to ignite their season and have the same core of players in a relatively settled line-up, with Richard Jones stepping in behind the stumps in the absence of Andy Holmes the most significant change.
The line-ups for the Fourths and Fifths were being finalised on Wednesday night. The Sixths were due to open their league campaign away to Hertford V but the game has been called off.
Players who made themselves available for that game may still be selected for other sides. Please watch your email inboxes for details.
