Knebworth Park’s Aussie legend Jarrod Turner returns to the club next weekend.
Jarrod, pictured centre above, was a star performer on the field, an excellent coach and a superb ambassador for the club for many seasons.
Let’s make sure we give him the welcome he deserves.
His visit coincides with a four-team 20/20 comp starting at 12.30pm on Sunday, May 25. We need a good turn-out so please put your name down to play.
There will be a rolling BBQ and the bar will be open throughout.
Before then, we have this weekend to look forward to when the sun is finally set to put on its hat. That means it’s proper cricket weather and time to enjoy a drink and the BBQ while watching the action.
There’s two junior matches tonight (Friday) and the bar will be open and the barbie fired up. We may need a volunteer or two to help Paul Sheffield on the barbie.
Then, on Saturday, the Firsts are at home and seeking to get back on winning ways against Old Finchleians, starting at 12.30.
So come along and enjoy the cricket scene at the Park.
